Good looking and practical, the Pioneer's styling is inspired by classic Raleigh bikes and delivers these elements in a modern way. The Pioneer has been a staple in the Raleigh range for many years and continues to be a favourite, so the addition of a TranzX motor just makes it even easier to get around.
The Aluminium frame has been designed to be lightweight and feature a comfortable upright riding position with relaxed frame geometry. A fully equipped bicycle featuring a kickstand and colour matched mudguards and rear pannier rack so that you can be kitted out for whatever the journey throws at you. Finished to a high standard with matt metallic finish paint with the classic Pioneer 'pinstripe' in silver and fitted with a comfort Selle Royal saddle which has plastic scuff guards on the sides to prevent damage.The F15 motor featured on the Pioneer electric is a powerful, geared front wheel motor which provides great hill climbing assistance, and allows you to quickly pull away at junctions or traffic lights. Adopting the latest gear design allows the motor to be kept relatively small and quiet compared to other front wheel motor systems. The simple LED display indicates the level of power you are using and the remaining battery charge. The Pioneer's 400wh battery provides a range of 50 - 80km* on a single charge dependent on the level of assistance selected and is easily removed to charge when needed.
Motor systems from TransX benefit from new communications technology, which ensures that the motor maximises the battery range, and will allow your dealer to set the bike up for you via a USB link. Handle-mounted power controls are placed close to the grips, so you can easily select from the four power levels, and use the speed button to give you an extra boost when travelling on more undulating terrain.
If you are looking for a bit more assistance then relax and shift your way through the smooth Shimano 8 speed Altus gear system that can be changed with a twist of the wrist. The bike rides on strong double wall wheel rims that are shod with puncture resistant CST Zeppelin tyres designed specifically for e-bikes and featuring reflective strips to make your ride safer. High quality lights which are integrated into and powered by the motor system have also been included for safety.

manufacturers full warranty. Inflation of tyres, fitting of
pedals, stem, handlebars, front wheel, front brake cable, saddle
and seatpost are necessary. Gears and brakes may require some
adjustment prior to riding.
