Fast X Parents Guide

In Fast X: Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever.

Fast X Age Rating Parents Guide

Let’s take a look at what parents need to know about the age rating of the movie before letting their younger children watch Fast X.

LanguageFast X contains some stronger words, with profanity used throughout. Some of the words include sh*t, bullsh*t, b*tch, a**, b*st*rd, d*mn, d*mm*t, g-d d*mn, hell, and “what the..” but the sentence wasn’t finished.

Mature Content: The biggest concern for parents in the film, other than the bad language, is the intense sequences of violence the film contains. Characters are shown in peril, are killed with guns, explosions, weapons, and other violent deaths. Children are put in danger, and many characters are in peril, with some being beaten and tortured. There is a villain that is referred to as “the devil,” who is psychotic and kidnaps children and adults, creates a bomb that would wipe out a city, and is involved in much of the death and extreme violence. There are no sex scenes or graphic nudity to speak of, but some characters are dressed in scantily clad clothing. There is also a scene where a man escapes a boxing bag in his underwear, having been beaten while inside the bag. There are some drug references and a scene that includes a character getting high off of a muffin he had eaten.

Age Rating of Fast XUniversal Pictures Fast X has a PG-13 rating by the Motion Picture Association (mpaa ratings) for sequences of intense violence and action, language, and some suggestive material, and the parental guidelines advisory recommends it for mature audiences, an adult audience, young adults, and teens aged 13 and older. The suggestion of parental guidance or a legal guardian (adult guardian) is highly suggested for young kids (young viewers) under 13 years of age in this PG-13-rated motion picture for adult material. The minimum age recommendation is 13 years old; it is not suitable for younger viewers. There is no sexual content in the film

Overall Thoughts

The best thing about the new Fast and Furious sequel, Fast X, is the performance given by Jason Momoa, who plays villain Dante Reyes. There is no doubt Momoa is having a blast in the role, and it shows. He plays a mentally unstable rich boy who is set on taking down Dom and everyone he loves. His performance as the psychotic villain reminds me a bit of the Joker, who will make funny and cheesy quips, laughing maniacally, as he causes harm, torture, and death to those around him without a care in the world. He is the star of the show, stealing every scene he is in, and not just because of his massive height or good looks, but because he shines in his role.

Fast X, much like the previous movies in the franchise, does not miss a beat as far as action is concerned. The film runs at around 2 hours and 21 minutes, and the film moves as fast as the cars in it, with never a dull moment and plentiful action sequencesnutes, and the film moves as fast as the cars in it, with never a dull moment and plentiful action sequences. We have seen the previous movies get crazier and more ridiculous as far as what this gang does in their car. The last film literally had them taking a car into space! Fast X continues to push the envelope with stunts, crazy chases, explosions, and fight scenes that are totally unrealistic but enjoyable to watch and will have viewers cheering throughout.

As far as the story goes, it is clear that Fast X is starting to wrap up their story, which went from just a bunch of kids racing in cars to heists and joining some sort of spy network. This installment will bring back so many familiar faces from the past films, tying them all into one story. It is a beauty to watch. As well as bringing back past characters, there are also a bunch of fun cameos, some stellar surprises, and a cliffhanger that will have viewers gasping and begging for the next film ASAP. There is also a midcredit scene that audiences should not miss.
